Bio:

“The empty, No-Life Baron, The Unending.” All these and other titles have been given to the Baron of a distant land.

Ermac Cindarious has ruled as Baron of his lands for nearly a millenium. To everyone who lives under his rule it would seem like Baron Ermac “The Empty” Cindarious is a true immortal, or at least that is the assumption. Though, as with most things, the truth is far more interesting than a simple immortal. Through careful planning and tradition the Cindarious line has never had to name a successor to the throne.

But, this is not the tale of Ermac Cindarious. No, this is the beginning of the tale of Ermac Cindarious the Eighth.

Never seen in public without his infamous “Armour of the worthy fallen” (A suit of armour crafted of the bones of fallen foes), or his twin blades “Alpha” and “Omega”(two masterwork shortswords), the only people who know the Barons true face are long since dead.

A benevolent Baron, Ermac is loved and admired by his people. Despite his garb, he is a calm and knowing leader. Never quick to anger, his is methodical in all he does. Rumours abound of his past as a rogue and a cleric of strange and distant gods. Curiously, these rumours are based on truth and fact, and yet his people are loyal without question.

The truth behind the veils is, Baron Ermac Cindarious died around 600 years ago. He is buried in the hidden crypt halls of his castle, “Karnak Hold”. This is the truth of the “Unending Baron”’s appareant disregard for the march of time. When the son of the CURRENT Ermac reaches a certain level of skill, knowledge and ability, the current Ermac will leave his land on “negotiations”. The true motive is that the child must seek out, find, challenge, and defeat his father. In so doing he loses his training name(a name given at birth to let him blend in with the people of his future barony.) and takes the mantle of Baron Ermac Cindarious. Along with this title comes the sacred armour and swords of his great ancestor.

Ermac VIII has been searchin for nearly 13 months, the longest any has ever been out and has followed his fathers trail to this strange and unfamiliar land. It would seem his father had actually been here before, and had conducted legitamate negotiations. Time is running short, the barony is in good hands in “Ash”, Ermacs sister, though it is only a matter of time before neighbouring baronies start getting ideas of expansion in the “Unending Baron”s absence.
